"The Fight For Reality" by regensordo

Reality, fabricated and otherwise, is viewed as differently as there are egos to corral. For the loyal herd, today’s “reality”, the establishment, is one of two things: 1) a scary place of right-wing white nationalism about to take over with the help of its Russian master, or 2) a scary place of left-wing identity fascism dominating a society that has, somewhere along the line, come under the command of socialists, Bolsheviks or other undefined communists hell bent on civil war just because.
Take the words of Democratic shill Michael Moore stoking both sides. Here’s what he said in a recent Rolling Stone interview:
Anytime you see three white guys walking at you — down the street toward you — two of them voted for Trump, you need to move over to the other sidewalk because these are not good people that are walking toward you. You should be afraid of them. (55:50)
Stoking the “race war” with Michael Moore.
To the liberal/conservative herd this only proves establishment “reality” correct. It’s red meat to Our primed herd. But in October 2016 Moore, before he got the bipartisan race war memo, said something very different (00:11):
A lot of people in Michigan that are planning to vote for Trump — and they’re not — they don’t necessarily like him that much, and they don’t necessarily agree with him. They’re not racists and rednecks, they’re actually pretty decent people. . . . Donald Trump came to the Detroit Economic Club and stood there in front of the Ford Motor executives and said, “if you close these factories . . . and build them in Mexico, I’m going to put a 35% tariff on those cars when you send them back . . .”
Michael Moore in 2016 before he got the “race war” memo.
This is the same speech where Moore famously said, “Trump’s election is going to be the biggest fuck you ever recorded in human history. And it will feel good.”
Moore’s Trump voters went from duped but honest folk to the scum of the Earth. Such naked hypocrisy is unremarkable and barely raises an eyebrow. This is because the masses are bred to the loyal herd following the establishment ways of thinking, and this is how We want them to think.
The acceptance establishment “reality” makes compliance almost natural. It is easy to accept that the “other party” or “race” is bad when the individual grows up with these assumptions already ingrained for generations before they were born.
The Primal Division of alienating individuals from each other finds its flowering in the ready acceptance of Michael Moore’s words as the work of a friend or foe. The strong instincts of guilt, pervasive in a ruling class society, encourages the damning finger of the righteous. Guilt greases the way for alienation. Guilt and the manufactured hate the Primal Divisions are expressed in the labels of those who wear them. For those bearing the liberal label those with the conservative label are the “bad” or “wrong” regardless of substance. Thus Moore can describe the same individuals — Trump voters — as essentially decent and then throw them under the bus when as the masters dictate. The herd among the masses won’t wonder at this or bet yet, not know what’s going on. This is the reality of the herd among the masses. In a ruling class society guilt and the Primal Divisions are the “pre-conditions” into which the individual is born. The herd individual’s disposition seems natural though its really the ruling class disease infecting them with delusions.
Can liberals and conservatives overcome their intellectual disabilities and see reality for what it is, and not what the ruling class fools them into seeing?
